Established as a subsidiary of the International Peeling Society (IPS) (established in 2012 and incorporated in Switzerland), the International Peeling Society-USA (IPS-USA) was founded in 2018 through the efforts of Harold Brody from the IPS Board and works to advance the mission of the IPS in the United States promoting awareness, training and practice of chemical peeling. IPS-USA has no President but a chair of the Board of Directors for USA.
